Two 15-second advertisements will be seen
Press Release
Viewers of television broadcasts of the 2004 Olympic Games will get their first look at some of the special features offered by the new 2005 Pontiac G6 sports sedan. Two 15-second advertisements will be seen during coverage on NBC, Bravo, MSNBC, CNBC and USA Network beginning August 18. "The G6 represents a major step forward in the renaissance of Pontiac, a fresh look at performance and style," said Mark-Hans Richer, Pontiac marketing director. "The Olympics broadcasts give us the opportunity to showcase two of the vehicle's features that we believe will truly surprise viewers. " The first 15-second segment spotlights the operation of the G6's optional Panoramic Roof system, the first large, multi-panel sunroof offered in this price range. The second segment focuses on the optional factory-installed remote-start system. Both advertisements feature music by classic British rock band, The Clash, and each encourages viewers to learn more about the G6 at www.firsteverg6.com. A full campaign to introduce the G6 to the public using television, print and web advertisements will begin in September. Kia Rio B-Spec First Drive
As I came up fast over the crest just before the sharp right-hander, I felt the race car begin to understeer away from me. "No worries," I thought, forgetting what exactly I was driving, "I'll just get on the power and get it straightened out." A tank-slapper later I was facing the other direction on the edge of the grass. I had just spun out on my first lap ever in a race car. A front-drive Kia Rio B-Spec race car, at that.
